What is Noren?
Noren are traditional Japanese fabric dividers hung between rooms, on walls, in doorways, or in windows. They usually have one or more vertical slits cut from the bottom to nearly the top of the fabric, allowing for easier passage or viewing. Noren are rectangular and come in many different materials, sizes, colors, and patterns.

Bassen Dyeing technique
This is a high quality curtain made of 100% cotton fabric with the technique called Bassen Dyeing technique.

What's Bassen Dyeing technique
Bassen (抜染) is the process of removing the color of the dyed fabric from the pattern to make it white. It is characterized by the fact that the color is beautifully removed to the reverse side by coloring it.
